A Little History On My Company My start in this industry dates back to the late seventies. I started working in the remodeling industry, specializing in roofing, siding and window installations. For the first twenty or so years I worked for some well-known companies as a siding subcontractor and gained much experience working on older homes in Litchfield and New London Counties in Connecticut. During that time period, I developed many unique installation techniques that really distinguish my houses from typical siding jobs. Most of the negative feelings about vinyl siding are because people see that much of an older home's character is lost when a typical siding installation is done. As you will see in my photo gallery, my houses not only retain their character, but most of the time they end up actually having more detail. Over the last thirty-four years my workmanship earned three national awards from product manufacturers. The most unique thing you will notice is the custom trim on the windows. The crown molding detail is all hand formed in one continuous piece and custom scaled to the preference of the home owner. You will notice there is no "cheap" looking channeling around any window openings or overhang trim that takes away from a home's authenticity. All trim including facias and rake trim are custom formed using PVC coated aluminum that will not fade or chalk like typical "cheaper" aluminum stock. Over the years I have been able to develop a method that not only looks unique but can be done in a timely manner to keep the costs reasonable. Despite the intricate and custom look, my price is probably less than what a large company would quote for your home because I do all the work hands-on and deal directly with my customers when quoting a price. There is less overhead and the savings can be passed on to you. Much attention is placed on the quality of the accessories, such as long length custom corners and seamless gutters. Clapboard style siding is available in up to 25 foot lengths to virtually eliminate unsightly seams. Cedar impressions style siding is actually my specialty and you will see many examples of this in my gallery which will be constantly updated. Windows from Harvey Building Products and Andersen are used on most of my jobs but I have access to many other manufacturers such as United, Pella and Ply Gem to name a few. I also specialize in Therma-Tru fiberglass door systems, and leaf protection products for your gutters. Complete home packages including siding, windows, seamless gutters, and even roofing, can be a real savings for you. My goal has been to always leave every customer totally satisfied and because of this I have been able to run a very successful business based solely on referrals.
